The rule has teeth.
Under the EU Omnibus / Price Indication Directive (Article 6a, in force since 28 May 2022), any announced reduction must reference the lowest price in the 30 days before a reduction — not the price you happened to charge the day before. The Court of Justice (case C-330/23, 26 September 2024) confirmed the reduction must be calculated against that 30-day-lowest figure. Enforcement is no longer theoretical:
Set it once. It runs itself.
Records every price change
The app captures each price move on your Wix Stores products as it happens.
Computes the 30-day low
It tracks the lowest price observed in the trailing 30 days for every product and variant.
Shows the line on a sale
When a price drops, the compliant prior-price line appears under it — and only then.
The Wix side in detail — permissions, catalogue coverage, sync cadence and the app's deliberate limits — is on the Wix Stores integration page.
Questions about the 30-day rule.
What is the EU Omnibus 30-day lowest price rule?
The EU Omnibus Directive amended the Price Indication Directive (Article 6a) so that any announced price reduction must state the lowest price the item was offered at during the 30 days before the reduction. The displayed “was” price must be that 30-day low — not simply yesterday's price.
Does the free plan really keep my Wix store compliant?
Yes. The compliant “lowest price in the last 30 days” line is free on every product, forever, with no product limit. Paid plans add analytics and an exportable audit trail — they do not gate the compliance line itself.
Which countries does this apply to?
The Price Indication Directive applies across the EU and EEA, transposed into each member state's national law (for example Poland's UOKiK enforces it). If you sell to shoppers in the EU/EEA and announce reductions, the rule reaches you regardless of where your store is based.
How does the app calculate the 30-day lowest price?
It records every price change on your Wix Stores products as it happens and keeps the lowest price observed over the trailing 30 days for each product and variant. When you start a promotion, that figure is shown as the required prior-price reference.
Do I need to edit my theme or write any code?
No. You install it from the Wix App Market in one click. The compliance line appears automatically on a product page only while that product is on a reduced price — no theme edits, no developer, no spreadsheets.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free shows the legally-required price line on all products. Pro ($7.99/month) adds a price-history analytics dashboard, a dated compliance record you can export to CSV or PDF, and extended history retention.
