One line, in the right place, at the right time.
The app installs a Wix Stores product-page element. It has no settings to get wrong and no layout to rebuild.
What it does
- ✓ Prints the prior-price line directly under the product price.
- ✓ Appears only while that product sits below its 30-day reference — a full-price product shows nothing.
- ✓ Follows the shopper's own browser language in English, German, Polish and French, and falls back to English everywhere else.
- ✓ Formats the amount in your store's currency, with that currency's own decimal rules.
What it never does
- ✗ Change a price, a product, or anything else in your catalogue.
- ✗ Read orders, carts, customers or payment data.
- ✗ Load a third-party tracker, cookie or advertising pixel on your storefront.
- ✗ Print a prior price it cannot substantiate from your own price history.

- Permissions
- Read-only: your product catalogue and your own app-instance record (which plan you are on). Nothing that can write to your store.
- Catalogue support
- Wix Stores Catalog V1 and V3 stores both work, including stores with product options and variants.
- Variants
- Price history is kept per variant. A product with several live variants shows one line, computed from the lowest of them, and a variant you delete stops counting once the daily reconcile sees it gone.
- How changes arrive
- A price change reaches the app as a Wix webhook. An hourly incremental sweep and a daily full reconcile cover anything a webhook could have missed.
- What is stored
- Dated price observations plus the most recent product and variant names, so a dashboard row and an export can be read by a human. No shopper data of any kind.
- Where it is stored
- On European infrastructure, and deleted within 30 days after you uninstall. See the Privacy Policy.
Where it deliberately stops.
A compliance tool that overstates what it knows is worse than none, so three things are by design rather than by omission.
- It only knows the price changes it has seen. History starts the day you install. For a product whose price has never moved since then, there is no earlier low to reference — and the app says nothing rather than inventing one.
- A Wix “compare at” price is not treated as a prior price. That field is a display choice, not evidence that the item was ever sold at it. Only prices the app watched your store actually charge are eligible.
- When two readings are possible, it takes the lower one. Understating a prior price costs you a little discount headline; overstating one is the breach the rule exists to punish.
